Claudia and Jordan’s wedding at VanDusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver was a perfect reflection of their love story—timeless, vibrant, and deeply meaningful. Surrounded by lush greenery, vibrant blooms, and their closest family and friends, the day was full of lively energy, heartfelt traditions, and unforgettable moments.
The Venue
VanDusen Botanical Garden is one of Vancouver’s most enchanting wedding venues, offering a stunning blend of natural beauty and elegance. For Claudia and Jordan, it held special meaning—they knew every corner of the garden by name. After an idyllic first look on a tranquil bridge over a lily-pad-covered pond, we explored the grounds, ending with some romance in the Rose Garden, which very much evoked Secret Garden vibes. Their ceremony took place on The Great Lawn, a picturesque spot in the heart of the grounds, surrounded by trees and blooms.
their story
These two are absolutely adored by their people, and it's easy to see why. Having both grown up in BC, Claudia and Jordan met in high school and began dating during their university years. Ten years later, on a trip to Japan, Jordan proposed to Claudia, marking the next chapter of their story.
The day
Claudia's extended family flew in from Poland, and the bride's heritage was honoured with the Polish tradition of "bread and salt" during their reception entrance, vodka included!

"We recently had the pleasure of having Emily + Colin photograph our wedding, and it was the most incredible experience. It's hard to find the right words to share just how special they are as people, how memorable they made our day, and how much we enjoyed having them there for every single moment.
These two were such a dream to spend our day with. Our family and friends are still raving about how kind, genuine, and incredible they both were. They made not only us but everyone that attended our wedding so comfortable throughout the day, and they were so much fun to just be with all day long.
Over the number of times we talked leading up to the wedding, they truly listened to what we wanted and went above and beyond to deliver that vision. Being someone who works at a wedding venue, I've seen a lot of wedding photos, but theirs were special. We selected these two because their photos truly are unique, personalized to us, and they really do transport us back to those moments that we now get to remember so clearly, forever.
The photos are absolutely stunning. Going through them together with each other and our families, there were so many tears (happy ones!). Emily + Colin captured so many special moments, especially with our guests, that we know not only us, but our guests and our families, will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives.
