Where are you based
We're currently based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We were both born in British Columbia and feel super lucky to have grown up here.
Do you travel? How much do you charge for travel?
Heck yes! Did we mention we LOVE to travel. Our travel fees are simple - you just have to get us there. Check out our upcoming travel dates and save on travel fees when you book us!
Can I customize my wedding package?
Absolutely. Since every couple is different, we know that our packages may not always cover what you have in mind. But don't worry, we would love to work with you to create a package that fits your vision for your day.
Should I do an engagement shoot?
Big, big YES! There is no better way to get comfortable in front of the camera. Plus it gives us a chance to get to know you before the big day. And you'll get some incredible photos!
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
We truly believe that there are no unphotogenic couples. The only requirement is that you are in love, we will handle the rest! We love the time spent getting to know you. We'll tell you what to do the whole time and we promise we will have a ton of fun together.
Do you shoot every wedding together?
Yes! Unless there is an extenuating circumstance or we say otherwise, you will always have the two of us at your wedding.
How do I confirm my wedding date?
Once your date has been confirmed and your coverage has been decided upon we will prepare a contract for you to review. From there a signed contract and a 30% deposit are needed to officially secure your date.
How will I receive my photos?
We will deliver your photos through a beautiful online gallery which can easily be shared with family & friends. All of your images can be downloaded directly from the gallery.
When can I expect to receive my photos
We deliver galleries as soon as we possibly can! We give ourselves 6 - 8 weeks for weddings and 3 - 4 weeks for portrait sessions, but depending on our schedule, it can be sooner. We know waiting for your photos is tough but trust that we're making sure your photos are the best possible quality.
What is a post wedding session?
It is a pretty special and rare thing to have all of your loved ones together in one place at the same time. We want you to be able to be fully present and so in some instances, it makes sense to dedicate only a small amount of time to portraits day of, and instead go out the next day just us. Couples are always much more relaxed because there's no timeline and no family to get back to. Plus you get to choose an additional location, a place you've dreamed of having photos at but perhaps it wouldn't make sense to host the whole wedding there.
will you help us find photo locations?
Of course! We're constantly finding new spots to add to our list of photo locations, it's one of the most important parts of our job. We are so lucky to have no shortage of beautiful places here on the West Coast, and once we get an idea of who you are as a couple, we can decide together on a location that fits you best.
What if there is bad weather?
We absolutely love embracing all kinds of weather. Some of our favourite photos have been the result of our couple ditching the umbrellas and dancing in the rain. That said, we do keep a close eye on the weather forecast, especially if we're planning to shoot in the mountains as weather can change very quickly.
