Brought together by their shared love of life, family and farming, Jess and Mike exchanged vows in a sunny pasture, atop a cow hide rug with their families and the mountains to bear witness. What an honour that we get to tell this story!

The Venue

Predator Ridge is a gem of the Okanagan Valley, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Kelowna Airport and close to some of the region’s top wineries. The venue's upscale accommodation options and proximity to local attractions make it an ideal choice for a destination wedding like this one. With its sprawling landscape and endless views, it was the perfect setting for Jess and Mike’s wedding.

For their ceremony, they chose a private field within the picturesque pasturelands adjacent to the venue. After the sunny ceremony, guests enjoyed an elegant and airy atmosphere upon returning onsite to be hosted for their cocktail hour and reception.

Their Story

Jess and Mike are as real as they come. Their story is a remarkable blend of fate and family heritage, something you might only read about it books. Both come from families deeply rooted in the cattle farming industry. Their paths first crossed through cattle trading—a chance encounter of undeniable chemistry. As they grew closer, it came to light that their late grandparents not only knew each other through cattle farming but were also good friends. This shared history added a special layer of significance to their union, making their wedding a celebration of both personal and familial bonds.
