The smokiest day Vancouver saw last summer quickly turned out to be one of our favourites. In true Alex and Holly fashion, these two were all smiles as we swapped out the Lodge's famous views of Mount Cheam for a day-long golden hour with the softest warm light.

The day was made even more special by the fact that Alex's family travelled all the way from the UK to be apart of it. The couple exchanged personal vows during the ceremony which brought tears as well as laughter to many of their guests. In fact, all throughout the day we couldn't help but notice how their love for each other and overall joyous outlook was reflected in the eyes of their nearest and dearest. These two are made for each other.

For the reception, guests enjoyed an amazing meal in the riverside hall, decorated with candles, florals and thoughtful personal touches. Mount Cheam made a brief appearance and we ran outside mid dinner to snap some epic mountain portraits before the sun set and the dance floor became the center of the party. Forever grateful to this sweet couple for sharing their love for us to capture xx
